Most surgical training happens away from real patients — in rented halls, on simulators, in short bursts disconnected from actual clinical practice. Solace Training Academy exists to fix that gap.
Housed within Primax Hospital, every trainee learns inside a live, functioning hospital with real OT schedules and mentors who operate on patients the same week they teach.

Advanced fellowships at the Washington Cancer Institute, USA, and Severance Hospital, Seoul, South Korea. 20+ years of clinical practice, with expertise in CRS+HIPEC advanced cancer surgery, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive GI surgery. Dr. Gupta leads the academic direction and curriculum design for all four training pillars at Solace.

22 years of clinical practice in gastroenterology and hepatology. Expert in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP, and advanced GI procedures. Dr. Nitin Gupta leads the GI Endoscopy pillar curriculum and trainee assessment at Solace Training Academy.

Solace Training Academy is the dedicated surgical training unit of Primax Gastro Institute & Super Speciality Hospital, Sonipat. Trainees get access to Primax's live operating theatres, endoscopy suites, simulation lab, ICU, and pharmacy.
The academy has two directors: Dr. Nikhil Gupta (Academic Director, M.Ch. GI Surgery, G.B. Pant Hospital, 20+ years experience) and Dr. Nitin Gupta (Director of GI Endoscopy & Gastroenterology, DM Gastroenterology, 22 years experience).
Facilities include live operation theatres, simulation and wet lab, ultrasound and imaging suites, dedicated endoscopy suites, robotic surgery console (Da Vinci & SSI Mantra), 24×7 ICU, patient care wards, in-house pharmacy and clinical pathology laboratory.
Solace Training Academy operates within Primax Hospital, a NABH-compliant institution. The FOGSI Hysteroscopy Workshop carries FOGSI recognition. Dr. Vikrant Sharma is an officially certified proctor for SSI Mantra robotic surgical system.
